Strip everything away and a diamond is carbon — atoms locked into the most tightly ordered structure found in nature. That structure is the whole story: it's why light behaves so dramatically inside a diamond, why the stone resists scratching better than anything else on Earth, and why a diamond formed a billion years ago and a diamond formed six weeks ago in a controlled chamber are, atom for atom, the same thing.
Mined diamonds took shape deep underground, under pressure and heat sustained over geological time. Lab grown diamonds recreate those exact same conditions — the same pressure, the same temperature, the same carbon — inside equipment built to do in weeks what the earth once took eons to do. Nothing about the resulting crystal is simulated or substituted. It has the same hardness, the same optical properties, the same fire and brilliance, and it grades on the exact same scales a gemologist would use for a mined stone.

Cut. The single factor that puts life into a diamond. Precise faceting and proportion decide how much light a stone returns to the eye.
Colour. Graded on a scale from colourless down to visibly tinted. The closer to colourless, the brighter and whiter a diamond appears.
Clarity. A measure of the natural internal characteristics formed during a diamond's growth, assessed under magnification.
Diamond Certification: Why It Matters
A diamond certificate is the closest thing a diamond has to an identity document. It records the stone's origin, its 4 C grades, its precise measurements and proportions, and the finer technical details that a jeweller — or a buyer — would otherwise have no way of confirming independently.
Certification isn't a formality. It's what turns "trust me" into "here's the report." It confirms a stone is graded against consistent, global standards rather than a single seller's word, and it gives you, the buyer, an objective basis for every rupee you spend.
